About this qualification
Aims and objectives:
The main aim of the VTCT Skills Level 2 Award in Eyebrow and Eyelash Treatments for Beauty Specialists is to enable learners to provide eyelash and eyebrow treatments. It covers the use of a variety of consultation techniques to establish the treatment and outcomes required by the client. You will need to be able to provide eyebrow shaping and artificial lash treatments using a variety of work techniques. You will also need to be able to tint eyebrows and lashes for clients with different colouring characteristics (i.e. fair, red, dark and white).
Lash Lift & Brow Lamination Qualification, combining two of the beauty industry’s most sought-after treatments. This course is a unique opportunity for beauty professionals to update their skill set and provide clients with the ultimate “Eye Duo,” all while enjoying significant savings.
This qualification is suitable for learners aged 16 and over and is designed to provide occupational competence at level 2.
Duration: 8 Weeks
And an additional 6 hours of practice at home) You need to submit 3 before & after pictures, with completed consultation forms, to become a Certified Individual Lash Lift & Brow Lamination Technician.

What You Will Learn – VTCT Level 2 Award in Eyebrow and Eyelash Treatments
The VTCT Skills Level 2 Award in Eyelash and Eyebrow Treatments is a qualification designed to develop your practical skills in shaping (tweezers) and colouring (tinting eyelashes and eyebrows). You will learn how to maintain the original eyebrow shape or to change the shape of the eyebrow if desired. You will also learn about different colour characteristics and the chemical process of tinting.
The purpose of this qualification is to develop your practical skills to a high level of occupational ability to enable you to provide shaping and colouring treatments for the eyelashes and eyebrows.
This qualification also provides:
-The related knowledge and understanding required to perform the eyebrow and eyelash treatments listed above, as well as understanding the structures you are working over, in particular skin and hair, and reasons that may affect whether a client should or should not be treated
-Opportunities for learners to focus on the development of their wider skills in a beauty therapy setting, such as communicating with clients, working with others and problem solving
-Opportunities for learners to develop a range of skills, techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful performance in employment as a beauty specialist in eyebrow and eyelash treatments

Models: Students must bring their models for practical sessions. The models must be over 16, not pregnant or breastfeeding, and suitable for the treatments (natural, healthy brows and lashes).
