Deborah Whelan (owner)
Deborah has a CIBTAC Diploma in both Aesthetic Treatments & Body Therapy. She also achieved an ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Nail Technology. She completed a Distinction certificate QQI Level 5 in Anatomy and Physiology.
Deborah completed QQI Level 6 Training Needs & Identification, and QQI Level 6 Training Delivery & Evaluation. The purpose of these awards is to equip the tutor with the knowledge, skill, and competence to deliver, assess, and evaluate
a training and development intervention.
She completed Level 7 Professional Training Practices at UCC. At its core, Professional Training Practices are focused on fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth within organisations.
The Advanced Institute of Nail Technology ‘AINT’ was established in 2001. AINT is currently responsible for training groups of students in Community Colleges and Private Colleges Nationwide. AINT was nominated for ‘Innovator of the Year’ and ‘Training Institute of the Year’ at the IBPA Irish Professional Beauty Association Awards.
She was on the judging panel with the president of the IBPA in judging the nail Technician of the year. We won the silver title of Irish Nail Champions at the Irish Nail Championships.

-Traineeships are open to people of all ages and from all educational and employment backgrounds.
-Social Welfare payments will not be reduced or affected while in training.
Duration: 4 Days and an additional 12 hours of practice at home) Students need to submit 4 before & after pictures, with completed consultation forms, to get certified as a lash lift & brow lamination tech.
Cost: €690
Models: Students must bring their models for practical sessions. The models must be over 16, not pregnant or breastfeeding, and suitable for the treatments (natural, healthy brows and lashes).
Consent: Models will need to sign a consent form.

Brow Tinting:
-Cleaning, tinting techniques, and applying nourishing oils.
Bespoke Tinting
-Customize tinting for brows.
Hair Removal Techniques
-Learn waxing and tweezing methods. (Demonstration)
Finishing Touches
-Use mineral makeup to enhance brow lamination results.
Aftercare Instructions
-Provide clients with essential aftercare tips.
Troubleshooting Techniques
-Identify and resolve common issues.
Recommendations for Add-Ons and Retailing
-Effectively upsell treatments and products.
Portfolio of work:
Each student is required to produce a portfolio of evidence of work. It consists of 4 before & after pictures of their work, with completed and signed consultation, disclaimer, & aftercare advice form, 2 lash lifts & 2 brow laminations.
Items needed at home:
-Table (preferably with drawers to store your products that are sensitive to sunlight)
-1 chair (preferably an ergonomic chair for yourself to protect your back) Tech Tip*** Always mind your back! Your chair should be at the right height so that your knees and hips are at the right angles.
-1 beauty bed
-Table lamp with a bulb of at least 60 watts of white light.
-Tissues.
-Cotton wool.
-Cotton tips.
-Metal bin with a self-closing lid and bin bag inside.
-Small glass bowl.
