Cost: €250

Day: Wednesdays from 10 am-1 pm for 2 weeks
Evening: Wednesdays from 6 pm – 9 pm (on the same dates) for 2 weeks

Note: The exam class will be discussed with your tutor.
Note: You are required to do a portfolio, containing before & after pictures of 4 full sets of gel manicure/pedicures, with completed consultation/ disclaimer & aftercare forms

Nail Preparation. Manicure preparation

-Safely push back the cuticle without damaging the delicate Matrix (the growing section of the nail).
-Buffing the natural nail without damaging the surface.
-Filing the natural nail without fraying the edges.

Product Application
-Application of buffing creams.
-Application cuticle remover creams.
-Application of exfoliants and safe professional removal.
-The 5 classical massage movements. Oil application & removal.
-Use a cuticle knife/knippers/files/buffers.
-Application of polish in 3 strokes.
-Paraffin wax treatments.
-Hot oil manicures

What You’ll Earn

Social media interaction:

Social media interaction with your tutor and group via private group messaging. Here you can share concerns, pictures, and ask questions on a dedicated Facebook private group page.

In addition to all the skills you learn, we will decide together on a business name for you.
Next, we start advertising you on your new social platforms.
Advertising strategies:
-Create Eye-Catching Posts
-Use high-quality images of your work.
-Engage with Followers: Respond to comments and messages promptly.
-Run Promotions: Offer discounts for first-time clients or referral bonuses.
Finally, start creating content to share and build a client base

Items you will need at home:

-Table (preferably with drawers to store your products that are sensitive to sunlight)
-2 chairs (preferably an ergonomic chair for yourself to protect your back) Tech Tip*** Always mind your back! Your -chair should be at the right height so your knees and hips are at the right angles.
-Table lamp with a bulb of at least 60 watts of white light.
-Tissues.
-Cotton wool.
-Cotton tips.
-Metal bin with a self-closing lid and bin bag inside.
-Small glass bowl.
